Nice to meet you

I made Aliya 25 years ago from London and I live and work in Ramat Hasharon, which is just outside Tel Aviv. I am very inspired by Japanese design and aesthetics, having lived in Tokyo during my student days, when I studied Japanese language and culture. Since coming to Israel, I have gained experience designing and building residential, retail and commercial projects, including high-spec modern homes, shops, restaurants and offices, for both Israeli and English clients. My design style is modern and minimalist but warm, and I work closely with my clients to incorporate their own personal style and taste. In all my projects I aim to create a balance between high quality modern aesthetics with day-to-day practicality.

In my experience through mutual cooperation and paying attention to the finest details, the best outcome can be achieved.  Being involved in upgrading people’s lifestyle experience, especially when different cultures and languages are involved, is a big responsibility and I put a huge amount of attention and emotion into ensuring that my clients’ expectations are met. 
I am actively involved throughout the entire process from design conception to project management and successful implementation on site.

I have built up a select team of reliable builders, suppliers and professional subcontractors, with whom I work regularly, ensuring the highest level of work and value for money. 
I speak the language and know how to “handle” the local mentality, bridging the cultural and language gap.
I work with my clients both locally and remotely, and I ensure that my clients receive the very best from all of the suppliers and workmen involved in the process. 
My aim is to remove the stress involved in trying to set up a home/business in Israel and ensuring that my clients have a soft and happy landing here.

נעים להכיר

שמי ניקי קנטור, מעצבת פנים. עליתי לארץ מלונדון לפני למעלה מ-20 שנה ואני גרה ועובדת ברמת השרון.  העיצוב והאסתטיקה היפנית מהווים עבורי השראה משמעותית – סגנון העיצוב שלי מושפע מהתרבות היפנית שהכרתי מקרוב כאשר גרתי ולמדתי בטוקיו.
מאז שעליתי לישראל, צברתי נסיון בעיצוב ובנייה של פרויקטים למגורים ומסחר, כולל בתי יוקרה, חנויות ומשרדים ללקוחות ישראליים וללקוחות דוברי אנגלית. סגנון העיצוב שלי מודרני, מינימליסטי אבל חם, ואני עובדת בשיתוף פעולה עם הלקוחות כדי לשלב את סגנונם ורצונותיהם האישיים.  בכל הפרויקטים, אני משתדלת לייצור איזון בין אסתטיקה ברמה גבוהה ופרקטיות יום יומית.

מנסיוני, התוצאות הטובות ביותר מגיעות משיתוף פעולה הדוק ותשומת לב לפרטים הכי קטנים. זוהי אחריות גדולה להיות שותפה לשיפור איכות החיים של אנשים שאני עובדת איתם. במיוחד כשמדובר בתרבויות ושפות שונות, ואני משקיעה מאמצים רבים כדי לענות על כל הציפיות של הלקוחות שלי.
אני מאוד מעורבת בתהליך כולו, החל בחשיבה קונספטואלית, דרך ניהול הפרויקט ועד ביצוע מוצלח של התכנון בשטח.

אני מקפידה לעבוד באופן קבוע עם צוות מובחר מאוד של קבלנים, ספקים ואנשי מקצוע אמינים, כדי להשיג את הרמה הגבוהה ביותר של עבודה עבור הלקוחות שלי – והערך לכספם. אני דוברת אנגלית ועברית ברמת שפת אם, ואני יודעת להתנהל במקביל במנטליות הישראלית והאנגלו-סקסית, ולגשר בהבדלי תרבות ושפה.  אני עובדת עם לקוחות מישראל ומחו”ל ויודעת לוודא שהם מטופלים ע”י אנשי המקצוע ברמה הגבוהה ביותר.  המטרה העיקרית שלי היא להפחית את הלחץ מתהליך הבנייה/שיפוץ שלכם, ולהפוך אותו לחוויה מהנה ומרגשת.
